IIT Roorkee is inviting UG and PG students of non IIT Roorkee institutions for a research internship during the summer of 2024.
Students who complete this internship may be offered PG or Doctoral positions at IIT Roorkee.
The interns are offered a fellowship of ₹2,500 per week.
The program starts from June 1, 2024 and will last 6 to 8 weeks.
How to apply for IIT Roorkee Spark internship?
Eligibility:
Students who have completed at least 2 semesters of their UG degree (BE/B.Tech/Integrated MSc/B.Arch/MA)
The CPBA Cutoffs are as below.
- Students from IITs/IISc: At least 7.5 CGPA.
- Students from NITs/IISER/NISER/IIEST/UM-DAECBS: at least 8.0
- Other institutions: At least 8.5
Applicants need to apply at the Spark 2024 Portal.
The deadline for applying is April 15, 2024.
The list of selected students will be announced in May 2024.

Students may be provided accommodation in the hostels. The cost of hostel and mess will be around ₹5500 per month which needs to be borne by the student.

A research experience in an IIT will definitely add value to your profile, especially if you are from a Tier 2/Tier 3 college.
