Summer Internship at IIT Hyderabad (SURE Internship)

IIT Hyderabad invites applications for the Summer Undergraduate Research Exposure – SURE Internship 2024 from non-IIT Hyderabad undergraduates and first-year postgraduate students.

Duration

The program runs between May 15 and July 14, 2024.
Interns may participate for a minimum of one month and up to two months.

Eligibility

Open to students in their first year of MSc (Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology), MA, the 2nd/3rd year of B.Tech./B.Des., or the 3rd/4th year of Integrated B.Tech.-M.Tech. programs.
Exclusively for NON-IIT Hyderabad students.
Applicants must be among the top 20% in their class based on CGPA or percentage scores.
Must be a full-time/regular student at both the application and completion stages of the internship.
A certification of the applicant’s academic standing from the Head of the Institute/Principal is required.

Stipend and Accommodation

A monthly stipend of ₹7,500, with a total of ₹15,000 for two months, or $10,000 for one-and-a-half months.
Hostel accommodation is provided, with mess charges borne by the interns.

Results announcement (tentative): April 15, 2024.

Selection process includes a preliminary screening and an optional interview. Selection criteria include academic performance, extracurricular achievements, and interview performance.
