The International Centre for Theoretical Sciences (ICTS), TIFR, Bengaluru is inviting students in the final year, entering final year or just completed Master’s/Bachelor’s in Mathematics, Engineering or Sciences for a long term student research program.
The program is expected to last 1 or 2 semesters and is open to both Indian and Foreign students. Stipend and accommodation will be offered to the selected students.
Application deadline for this program is March 5, 2023 and list of selected candidates will be known by May 2023. The program will tentatively begin in August.

Should you apply for the ICTS-TIFR student program?
ICTS-TIFR is one of the best research institutes in the country and if you are research oriented, this will offer you a great learning opportunity.
However, students who have completed their programs and have received placement offers from companies may have an issue joining this program as it may clash with the joining dates.
Students in the penultimate year may also find it difficult if their institutions have mandatory attendance policy as this program is expected to last 1 or 2 semesters.
