Should you apply for this internship?

The opportunity to work for Google is a life time ambition for many engineering students and if you are passionate about software, you should apply for this internship.

However, the number of applications Google receives for this post is very high and mostly they prefer selecting students from Tier 1 colleges. If you are from a Tier 2/3 college and have excellent coding skills, make sure it is highlighted in your application/resume to be able to stand out in the crowd.

Also remember that you need to stay out of college and work full time with Google, so make sure your college allows that. Good luck with your application.
