The Summer Research Internship Program (SRIP) at IIT Gandhinagar is a flagship program for motivated students to participate in research projects, mentored by IITGN faculty. It’s scheduled for at least 8 weeks during IITGN’s summer break.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree students from recognized institutions in India.
- Suitable for first, second, and third-year UG students, and first-year PG students.
- Applicants must commit to a minimum of 8 weeks.
How to Apply
- Choose projects from the list provided by IITGN faculty.
- Apply online via the SRIP 2024 Application. No need to send a hardcopy.
Deadline: Application submissions close on March 5, 2024.

Stipend and Accommodation
- Weekly stipend of Rs. 2000; amount may vary for faculty-funded projects.
- Hostel accommodation available at a daily charge of INR 175.
