The Indian army is inviting applications from Fresh Engineers or MSc (Male), graduating in 2024 or before for the Technical Graduate Course (TGC-140) commencing in Jan 2025 at the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun.
Age Limit: 20 to 27 years as on Jan 1, 2025, unmarried.
Male candidates who have completed their engineering degree on or before Jan 1, 2025 are eligible to apply for this position.

Rank and pay scale
Selected candidates will be given the rank of Lieutenant (short service commission) and will have to undergo a training of about 12 months.
Trainees will be paid a stipend of ₹56,100 per month.
On successful completion of training, the candidate will be given a rank of Lieutenant (permanent commission) in the Indian Army.
Candidates are not allowed to marry during the training period and will not be allowed to live with their parents.
The pay scale once training is completed will be ₹56,100 – 1,77,500. Further increases in pay as per rank and other allowances are given in the official notification.

The deadline to apply is May 9, 2024, 15:00 hours.
Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email and will have to appear for an interview at any of the below cities:
- Prayagraj (UP)
- Bhopal (MP)
- Bengaluru (Karnataka)
- Jalandhar (Punjab)
The interview consists of 2 stages and will last about 5 days. This will be followed by a medical examination.
Candidates selected for the interviews will be provided with AC-3 train fare or bus fare to the place of interview.
