The Department of Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore is conducting a summer school for Engineering students and recent graduates in collaboration with IEEE Bangalore section.
The duration of this summer school is 5 days and the intake for this programme is 100.
The following subjects will be discussed in the summer school:
- Signal Processing
- Machine Learning
- Artificial Intelligence
- Power Electronics
- Power Systems
- Renewable Integration
- High voltage Engineering
- Control Systems
In addition, participants will also be able to showcase their talents via hackathons and quizzes.
All participants will be awarded a certificate of participation.
Eligibility for IISc Summer School
- Students pursuing UG programmes in EE, ECE, CS and EEE branches
- Working professionals with a background in EE, ECE, CS and EE.
There is no application fee for this programme.
About 100 participants will be selected for the programme. Once selected, participants will have to pay ₹1200 if they are regular students and ₹1000 if they are IEEE members.
50+ UG students will be provided with accommodation based on merit. The remaining students will have to arrange for their own accommodation.
IISc Summer School Dates
The summer school is tentatively scheduled to be held from July 4 to July 8, 2022.
The programme will be conducted in the IISc Bangalore campus, at the Electrical Engineering department.
How to apply?
Interested students may apply via the UG Summer school Google form.
The deadline to apply is May 29, 11:59 PM.
List of shortlisted candidates will be announced by June 7.
The final list of selected candidates will be announced by June 15.
The selected candidates will have to pay their programme fee by June 25.
