With hundreds of colleges with their own entrance exams and multiple channels of admission, it can get confusing and intimidating for any parent.
This is my attempt to make it easy for you. We will give the latest updates about all popular entrance exams and their dates on this page. There will be no clickbait tactics and fake news.
Update on May 6, 2023 – IISER Aptitude Test (IAT)
The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs) invite students to apply for the IISER Aptitude Test 2023, for admission to pure science UG programs via the SCB channel.
Apply on the IISER Aptitude test portal by May 25, 2023.
IAT 2023 is scheduled to be held on June 17, 2023.
Update on May 6, 2023 – JEE Advanced
Students who have qualified in JEE- Mains 2023 may now apply for JEE-Advanced for admission to IITs/IISc/IISERs.
Candidates may submit their applications on the JEE Advanced portal by Sunday, May 7, 2023.
Update on April 4, 2023 – MHTCET 2023 (Maharashtra Entrance)
Applications for Maharashtra Engineering, Pharmacy and Agriculture entrance are open and will close on April 7, 2023 (without late fee) and April 15, 2023 (with a late fee of ₹500).
The exams will be held on May 9-13, 2023 (for PCM students) and May 15-20, 2023 (for PCB students). (The dates are tentative and are not yet confirmed as per the MHTCET official notification)
Update on April 4, 2023 – JEE Main 2023 – Session 2
The hall tickets for the April session of JEE Main 2023 have been released. Candidates may download them at the NTA website.
Update on March 10, 2023 – KEAM 2023 (Kerala Engineering Entrance)
The Kerala Engineering, Architecture and Pharmacy Entrance exam will be held on May 17, 2023 as per the official notification.
Update on March 6, 2023 – Maharashtra MHTCET
Tentative dates for MHTCET 2023 for Engineering and Pharmacy have been announced.
The exams will be held on May 9-13, 2023 (for PCM students) and May 15-20, 2023 (for PCB students).
The last date to apply for MHTCET 2023 is April 7, 2023 (without late fee) and April 15, 2023 (with late fee).
Update on March 06, 2023 – Telangana EAMCET
Applications are open for Telangana state EAMCET 2023, for admission to university and private engineering colleges in Telangana.
The important dates for TS-EAMCET 2023 are:
- Deadline for application submission: April 10, 2023 (without late fee)
- Application deadline with late fee of ₹250: April 15, 2023
- Application deadline with late fee of ₹500: April 20, 2023
- Application deadline with late fee of ₹2500: April 25, 2023
- Application deadline with late fee of ₹5000: May 2, 2023
- Exam dates: May 12-14, 2023 (Engineering) – revised dates
- Exam dates: May 10-11, 2023 (Agriculture and Medical)

Update on Feb 20, 2023 – IIIT Hyderabad UGEE 2023
IIIT Hyderabad is one of the best colleges to study Computer Science in India and the placements are almost on par with that of IIT Bombay. We have written a detailed review on this college.
The IIIT Hyderabad UGEE 2023 applications are open and the details are as below.
- Exam date: May 6, 2023
- Application deadline: March 31, 2023
- Interviews: June 13 to June 15, 2023.

Update on Feb 20, 2023 – COMEDK 2023
The COMEDK (Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka) UG entrance test is conducted for admission to engineering colleges in the state of Karnataka and are open to students of other states.
The exam will be conducted in multiple cities across India, the list of which is given in the brochure given below.
Apply now for admission to some of the best colleges in Bangalore and other cities in Karnataka, like MS Ramaiah College, PES College of Engineering, etc.
The important dates are:
- COMEDK Exam date: May 28, 2023
- Last date for applying: April 24, 2023.
Applications are open on the COMEDK offical website.

Update on Feb 7, 2023 – JEE Round 1 Results
The results of JEE Main January session have been announced. Students may check their percentile scores at the NTA Website.
Please note that the ranks will be issued only after the second round of JEE Mains, which is to be held in April 2023.
Update on Feb 6, 2023 – JEE Round 1 Answer Key
The provisional answer keys for JEE Mains – Jan 2023 session have been released at the NTA website. We have attached the answer key below for your convenience.
Students can view their responses by logging into their account and compare the question ID against their own response sheet, as the order of questions in the response sheet may not be in the same order as given in the key.
The results showing the percentile score of the student is likely to be released soon.
Update on Feb 1, 2023 – BITSAT
Applications are open for BITSAT 2023.
The exam will be conducted in 2 seasons.
- Session 1: May 22 to May 26
- Session 2: June 18 to June 22
Last date to apply: April 9, 2023

JEE Main 2023 Admit cards for the January session have been issued on the NTA website.
Update on Jan 19, 2023
The advance city intimation including the date of exam for JEE 2023 January session has been issued at the NTA website to allow aspirants to make travel plans.

Update on Jan 10, 2023
LPUNEST 2023 for admission to Engineering programmes at LPU (Lovely Professional University, Punjab) are open. The important dates are given below.
- Last date for registration: Jan 20, 2023 (tentative)
- Date of LPUNEST exam: Feb 1 to Feb 10, 2023
- Result of LPUNEST: Feb 14, 2023
- Counselling and seat allocation: Feb 14, 2023 onwards.

Update on Dec 26, 2022
JEE-Advanced 2023 will be conducted by IIT Guwahati. The official website is now live. Important details are given below:
- Exam date: Sunday June 4, 2023
- Paper 1: 9AM-12PM IST

- Registration begins on April 30, 2023
