Should you apply for the L&T freshers opportunity?
The answer is a definite ‘yes’ especially if you are from core branches like Mechanical/Electrical and Civil.
Most colleges offer IT jobs to students and those who are in branches like Civil and Mechanical often end up in coding jobs at mass recruiters like TCS and Cognizant.
Our country needs more core engineers working on core disciplines to develop. There’s immense requirement in the fields of heavy engineering and infrastructure. The IT space is getting too crowded with supply exceeding demand and you’ll see in the coming years that IT jobs are not that high paying compared to a few years back. The civil and mechanical engineers will be high in demand.
This is the time to take the path less taken and create a bright future for yourself!
